Michael Jones is an accomplished and versatile executive with over 25 years of leadership experience across local government, corporate, and not-for-profit sectors. With a proven track record in managing large-scale teams and driving business improvement initiatives, Michael excels in strategic planning, governance, and operational performance. From 2018 to 2024, he served as Director of Corporate Services at Cowra Council, overseeing finance, technology, governance, customer service, and community development. In this role, he enhanced community engagement and service delivery through his management of the Cowra Civic Centre, Cowra Regional Art Gallery, and Cowra Library.

Michael’s prior experience includes a decade at Westpac in senior operational roles, with a focus on risk management and stakeholder relations. His background also includes leading Employment Solutions for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, helping individuals with disabilities access meaningful employment opportunities and skill development.

Holding a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University, Michael serves as a Non-Executive Director for LiveBetter and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Local Government Professionals. He has completed the AICD's Foundations of Directorship course.
